HAPPY HEAVENLY ANNIVERSARY TO MY PARENTS!!

Today is Good Friday, and how appropriate that two very good people's 72nd Wedding Anniversary fell on today as it has in years past. The older I get, the more I realize what wonderful people they really were.

Several years before Mom and Dad passed away, I dreamed of seeing still pictures of them happily playing together when they were kids. One by one, each picture presented itself as if being displayed up on a projector screen. They were around 10 years old and were cutting up with each other like best buddies. I asked Mom the morning after I had the dream if she and Dad had known each other well when they were children. I knew they had grown up in the same community of Eagle Creek, located in my hometown of Dadeville, Alabama. She said, “Why, we slept in the same baby bed together!”

Suddenly, I was in awe of just how God-ordained the marriage of my parents was, and still is, today and always.
